They say to write “about me” in third person to seem “professional” but it’s just weird in my opinion.
I’m a 28 year old artist based in South Florida. I work in web & brand design and the love of my life is painting & illustration. I get home from work and all I want to do is paint. I paint with whatever I get my hands on but particularly LOVE Gouache & Watercolors. They are not easy to understand but I have a wonderful time trying.
It’s a whole journey thing of figuring myself out, so i’m sure something in this about me page might change one day.
What I do know for certain: I f*cking love art.
These hands have been creating since they were very small. Everything that I do starts on pen and paper. Nothing fills my soul more than traditional mediums to create art.
Being approached with an idea, giving it a personality, a name, structuring it’s story, and giving it a visual presence might be one of my most favorite things in the world.
The importance of digital presence is no longer in question, this is something that compliments pretty much anything that I do creatively. Putting our ideas on the internet, is an art in itself.
There is no such thing as being a “master” you can always be better, at anything, so I am constantly learning.
My intuition can lead me in such strange directions, but is never wrong. I go with what I feel and it’s been my best guide.
I’m pretty damn good with photoshop.
Anywhere that has any of these: cold weather, weird fashion, beautiful forests, mountainous terrain, gloomy days, old architecture, SNOW, castles, good food, really cool museums.
Mystery, true crime, suspense, dark, horror, psychological thrillers, awkward comedy, twilight….
